AMD RADEON PRO WX 5100 SERIES
I was looking forward to the RX 5500 series Navi cards but seeing how they are power hogs in mobile applications (requires 8-pin and cited as 150W, 85W per notebookcheck ) and 150W in the desktop RX 5500 series I am doubtful it will bring much needed efficiency to their workstation lineup. Unless you're buying used off-lease ones for $250 or something close to RX 570 / RX 580 prices, the only major advantages over a ~$350-430 Quadro 2000 level Pascal/Turing series GPU are the Siemens NX performance, massively improved idle fan speeds (min fan speed 20% of 5000 is 1000RPM, "med" 40% is 2000RPM which is in line with Quadros' typical RPM), and 8GB VRAM.
